one or pet are transformed into a personalized keepsake. There are three ways to do this: the gemstone, the gemstone set in a piece of jewellery – or the ‘pearl with a soul’
that you can design yourself.

The Mini Lab allows you to personalize your Pearl with Soul at home—a simple do-it-yourself experience. The handcrafted ceramic pearl, set in sterling silver, becomes a deeply personal keepsake through the unique elements of a loved one or beloved pet, creating a meaningful reminder that you can cherish every day.

A personalized gemstone is a highly specialized and labor-intensive creation. We require 50 grams of cremation ashes or 10 grams of hair, and the production process takes approximately 30 business days from the time the material arrives at MEVISTO.
The Pearl with Soul, on the other hand, is a handcrafted ceramic pearl set in gold-plated sterling silver. It is personalized by you at home using the MEVISTO Mini Lab—a simple DIY experience. The pearl and Mini Lab are typically shipped within approximately two days, allowing you to create your personal keepsake in just a few minutes.
Diamonds require carbon, but after cremation, very little usable carbon remains in the ashes. Instead of relying on carbon, MEVISTO extracts the unique elements naturally present in the ashes or hair—such as calcium, magnesium, iron, and other trace elements—and permanently incorporates them into aluminum oxide, the natural mineral from which sapphires and rubies are formed.
The result is a personalized sapphire or ruby that carries the unique elemental signature of a loved one or beloved pet, making every gemstone truly one of a kind.
