A Mevisto for Marius
my very special companion
I still look back with great horror on that winter evening when Marius came down with this horrific colic. He was lying in his stall, wheezing audibly, and his usual radiant gaze had become dull and lifeless. He looked tired. It quickly dawned on me that something was wrong. I still remember vividly how I ran to my mom. I did not take her long, either, to realize that this situation was an emergency.
