Free urn grave
With the ‘Stone of Eternity’ at the St Martin’s in Linz has given rise to a unique form of form of urn burial with a memorial stone. Covering an area of approximately 2,000 m² , this special place of remembrance combines nature, tranquillity and a dignified final resting place. Following the creation of a personalised ruby or sapphire from the ashes , the remaining remaining ashes be interred in one of the urn graves, if desired. For MEVISTO customers, the cost of the burial plot is covered for the first ten years.
In collaboration with Linz AG, a space has been created that brings the cycle of life to life. An artistic gemstone sculpture forms the centrepiece, surrounded by a species-rich wildflower meadow and the circularly arranged urn graves. A funeral service is available to everyone in collaboration with Linz AG. The cemetery is freely accessible round the clock.

the costs for our customers
Together with Linz AG, we cover the costs of the grave lease for 10 years, as well as grave maintenance. The prominent site in St. Martin near Linz stands out visually from the other sites, thanks to the wildflower meadow, the bees and the circular arrangement of the graves around the large gemstone. A special atmosphere surrounds this place of power.
In Oberösterreich ist die Entnahme der Asche für ein Erinnerungsstück erlaubt. In manchen Regionen Deutschlands gilt ein strengeres Bestattungsgesetz, weshalb Bestattungsinstitute oder Hinterbliebene manchmal Bedenken haben. Wird die Asche in Oberösterreich entnommen und die Restasche am „Stein der Ewigkeit" beigesetzt, ist die Bestattungspflicht erfüllt. Die Grabmiete der ersten 10 Jahre übernimmt MEVISTO gemeinsam mit der Linz AG – danach lässt sich das Grab verlängern oder auflösen. So entsteht ein pflegefreies, würdevolles und zugleich günstiges Grab.
Für einen Edelstein genügen 50 g Asche – die Restasche kann ganz nach Wunsch beigesetzt werden. Wer keine klassische Beisetzung möchte, wählt das Bestattungspaket von MEVISTO: Wir übernehmen die Grabkosten für 10 Jahre, damit ist die Bestattungspflicht erfüllt und ein kostenfreies, pflegefreies Urnengrab gesichert.
Am „Stein der Ewigkeit" ist bewusst eine helle, naturnahe Grabstätte entstanden – eine große Edelstein-Skulptur inmitten einer Wildblumenwiese bildet das Zentrum der Urnengräber. Die Beisetzung kann jedes Bestattungsinstitut vor Ort durchführen; sie wird nur mit dem Friedhof der Linz AG in St. Martin geplant.
Ja. Die Restasche unterliegt in Österreich und Deutschland der Bestattungspflicht – bei der Gestaltung der Beisetzung sind den Wünschen der Hinterbliebenen kaum Grenzen gesetzt.
