Individualization is a top priority at Mevisto. And in two ways:

Firstly, we create gemstones from ashes or hair that bear the individual character of the person or animal in question. This is because every sapphire or ruby that we create is unique. This is due to our special process, which is based on several years of research: We first specially prepare the existing biogenic material - i.e. the ash or hair. This means that we extract certain elements and thus get to the essence of each person or animal.

In the next step, we grow a crystal from this in ovens. How light or dark our sapphires or rubies ultimately become also depends on the source material - and therefore on the character of the person or animal in question. Finally, the cut gemstone either finds its place in a piece of jewelry that we have developed ourselves or becomes part of an individual ring, a personalized necklace or another smaller or larger treasure for eternity.

And that brings us to the second aspect of individualization: because at Mevisto, custom-made products are also possible. We have compiled the most important information on this topic for you below.

One thing in advance: basically anything you like is possible. This is because we work closely with two jewelers who can fulfill any type of individual jewelry request. The range therefore extends from delicate rings to pompous necklaces and from delicate bracelets to unusual wedding jewelry.

Incidentally, we at Mevisto remember a very special custom-made piece from the last few years: A widow had her wedding ring and that of her deceased husband melted down and transformed into a ring with a personalized gemstone - a wonderful and touching story, we think.
