A Mevisto

that twinkles like a snow crystal

Thomas lost his dear wife Maria in a tragic car accident a few days ago. Since that incident not a day goes by without the widowed spouse thinking of his beloved sweetheart.
He squeezed all of his memories into a MEVISTO gemstone. Preserved for all eternity.
Thomas commissioned MEVISTO to create a sapphire from the ashes of this dearly departed wife.
The small, glittering gemstone has a pale pink color and twinkles like a thousand snow crystals in the light of the sun.
The exact same light that he remembers from the countless winter walks he and his wife loved to take together.
His life partner, the person of his heart, who will now stay with him forever - thanks to MEVISTO.

Thank you for shining your light into my world

“Just like these thousand crystals and just like the way everyone of them casts the light of the sun back when it is reflected on its millions of tiny surfaces. Just like the way they reflect the radiance of the sun to warm my skin: that is the way I remember the radiance of your eyes. Every time we reunited after not seeing each other for a long time and our eyes finally met again. Even at times when the hours we shared became more intense and we wished nothing more than spending every available minute with each other.
We were as close to each other as these ice crystals, which have now started to accumulate at my feet. These crystals that stick together to form thick balls of snow or lie on top of each other to create a captivating winter landscape.

A landscape I strolled through with open eyes, allowing the glinting of the quietude to remind me of your spirit. Of your wonderful way of viewing the world. Of your unshakable optimism, your dreams, and your yearnings. Your essence exuded as much wonderment as these thousand crystals. Filled with little secrets that longed to be uncovered, explored and experienced. You brought a glow to my life just as these thousand crystals share theirs with the world. You shined your glow into my small word, into my universe. A glow which I gladly shared with you. And I still do. Every time I stroll through our marvelous winter landscapes. Where millions of tiny surfaces reflect the light I need to see clearly. To see you.”
