As you can read in our latest blog post, the present situation sparked by the coronavirus has led to
massive restrictions at funeral ceremonies. These restrictions have resulted in an unprecedented boost in demand for alternative forms of burial,
such as our gemstone funeral, as they give mourners the strength and solace they need in these trying times.
Despite the challenges this situation is imposing on us, we continue to attach primary importance to providing the bereaved
with comprehensive information that will help them to make the decision that is right for them.
Notwithstanding, we at Mevisto take our responsibility for doing all we can to keep the coronavirus
from spreading very seriously and have moved our operations to the home office.
Our employees have set up their workstations at home and are there for you around the clock when you need them..
In a bid to ensure that our gemstones will arrive at our customers as quickly as possible while keeping staff contact at a minimum,
we have transitioned our production into a two-shift operation that works in strict compliance
with all applicable sanitary and safety measures.
In the last step of production, our polishers, currently working from home, contour the gemstone from ashes or hair
into the desired shape before it is sent on its way to our customers
to serve them as a one-of-a-kind keepsake.
These measures help us accomplish two goals: on the one hand, to provide the affected families with the greatest possible support and care in their darkest hours and, on the other hand, to ensure that our gemstones are produced and delivered with the highest level of protection for our employees.
