Dear Santa…

“I wish for you to give me your protection. Also, I would like you to look after my mom and my dad and my sister Natalie, too. Please watch over them. Sometimes she bugs me and is a little mean to me, but I love her nonetheless. Please tell her that. Another Christmas wish I have is for all of us to be together. Mommy, daddy, Natalie, and I. And, I would like to have a Lego car, too. The red one. Mama said you might know where to get one of those. It is not super important, but it certainly would be nice. My friend Thomas has the same one. He brought it to school today. We played with it during recess. His is green. A red one would be great. Natalie has wished for a new brush accompanied by a few make-up materials. I think she is pretty just the way she is, but her girlfriends in school say that these things are essential to girls.
Daddy never asks you for anything, dear Santa. He says he has Natalie and I, and he has mom. That I don’t understand. He did not wish for us from you, did he? Mom has already been given something. Dad says Santa will come to Mom earlier, as he will otherwise run out of time. He brought her a ring. But, I am sure you know that already. I think the little star on it is gorgeous. It sits in the middle of the ring and twinkles beautifully. Mommy absolutely adored it. She gave daddy a hug and a kiss as well. Natalie and I did the same. Papa said that it is our ring, too. I don’t think I am allowed to have it. But I prefer the Lego car anyway. A red one would be nice," writes Theo in his letter to Santa, whom his mom Britta fortunately kept for us.
